Urbinat Final Consortium Meeting (Open to other projects)

This final consortium meeting will bring together consortium members from across Europe, political representatives from the participating cities, representatives of sister Horizon 2020 projects, and various other parties and local stakeholders. -
Procura+ Conference
Dates: 13-14 March 2024; Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Organised by the City of Lisbon and by ICLEI Europe, the Procura+ Conference is dedicated to procurement innovation. It will provide participants with the latest international policy updates and with special Breakout sessions to perfect procurement skills. Registration is still possible. -
NbS EduWORLD Hackathon
Dates: 21-22 March 2024; Location: online on gather.town
NbS EduWORLD is inviting students from universities across Europe to participate in a 2-day Hackathon, dedicated to exploring NbS aimed at combating climate change and biodiversity loss. Interested students can apply by 11 March 2024.

Living Lab Lower Danube & Delta within the "Deltas & Wetlands" Scientific Symposium
Date: 15 May 2024; Location: Tulcea, Romania
This event will be the occasion to present insights from the EcoDaLLi project, which aims to better centralise Danube basin and deltas’ initiatives of ecological restoration and preservation. Registration process is over. -
NATURANCE Festival
Dates: 23-24 May 2024; Location: Laxenburg (Vienna), Austria
The event will be an interactive gathering, with the presence of invited guests from the Knowledge Network and the Innovation Labs. More information is coming soon. -
EU Green Week
Dates: 29-30 May, 2024; Locations: Various
The 2024 EU Green Week is part of a wider communication campaign dedicated to the topic of water resilience. The objective is to stimulate an EU-wide conversation around the EU’s water present and future, with an emphasis on fostering awareness and promoting positive, collaborative solutions. Want to submit an event? The application period will be open between 4-17 March. This year exceptionally, partner events can be organised beyond the Green Week period, starting from 29 May till 1 September 2024.

Urban Future
Dates: 5-7 June 2024; Location: Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Organised by the Urban Future movement, this event gathers activists, urbanists and leaders to reflect on urban sustainability and climate adaptation. Participants will benefit from field trips and side events. Registration is now open. -
Living Lab Middle Danube
Dates: 11-12 June 2024; Location: Osijek, Croatia
Organised by the Municipality of Draz and within the EcoDaLLi project, this event will showcase activities around Danube river restoration initiatives. A field trip in Draz is scheduled for participants. More information to come soon. -

Dates: 18-20 June 2024; Location: Oxford, England & online
Oxford university organises this event to scaling NbS effectively and ethically. Nine sessions will bring together researchers, NbS practitioners and leaders. Registration closes 01 June 2024. -
EURESFO
Dates: 26-28 June 2024; Location: Valencia, Spain
The event brings together city representatives, experts, and stakeholders from local and regional institutions to discuss strategies, initiatives, and actions affiliating to climate change adaptation, disaster management, and the cultivation of urban resilience. Registration for the 11th edition of EURESFO will open in March! -
NbS EduWORLD Summer School 2024
Dates: 30 June - 5 July 2024; Location: Marathon, Greece
The NbS EduWORLD project’s Academy on teaching for NbS offers a series of training activities to support, develop, and promote teaching and testing of NbS. The Summer School will provide participating teachers with a better understanding of what nature-based solutions are and how they can integrate them into the school environment.

This conference aims to bring together academic communities and practitioners to exchange information, experiences and research results on a variety of aspects concerning Nature-Based Solutions for Water Security and Climate Adaptation. Event will take place in Belgrade, Serbia July 3-5 2024. Session abstracts due March 1 2024. -
EU Week of Regions and Cities
The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance. Events can be proposed early March. -
