Curitiba's Municipal Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Plan is a legislative and sectoral instrument that aims to guide the municipality, the productive sector and society to address the effects of climate change, as well as mitigate the impacts of rising temperatures and improve the city's adaptive capacity. This plan is linked to the SDGs and the Paris Agreement and emphasizes actions to achieve greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions neutrality by 2050 and increase the city's resilience.
